The Frances C. Dixon Advocacy Award was established in 2014. It is an award presented by TechACCESS of RI to recognize outstanding efforts by an individual or agency that has advocated for the rights of individuals with disabilities.
Nominees for this award are distinguished by actions that have impacted and informed policies and practices that can affect change in their communities and beyond.
The award nominee can be any individual or agency who has championed for the rights of people with disabilities.
